My work is shaped by relationships, by connections drawn between myself and others; between my community and our landscapes, food sheds and waterways; and between this ecosystem and those family and friends belong to elsewhere. My thoughts trace pathways between these ecosystems and the influences of culture, economics, history and politics.These relationships weave themselves into my work and my work comes to life within them. The objects I create tell abstract narratives about connections between interior and exterior, between pot and sculpture, creature and habitat, survival and sustenance.
